KEY FACTS:
> Ultra light (4.8 sqm only 2,97 kg)
> Minimal loose leech and absolutely balanced profile for lightning fast rotations
> High reactivity
> New batten shape for more maneuver control
> Kevlar lines for durable and consistent performance
> RDM compatible only

The YEAH scores with its update in material mix with more durability without sacrificing the lightness and agility of a freestyle sail. Kevlar Warp Lines also provide more stability in the profile and consistent handling characteristics. You will always keep absolute control even during radical rotations and power moves.
In Line with the feedback of our team riders, the shape on the second batten has been moved more forward. This update in the new model further improves the overall control and especially in all reverse manoeuvres.
With this new touch, the maneuver handling is now at the highest level and leaves nothing to be desired. Team rider Steven van Broeckhoven, two-time freestyle world champion, is referring to a "handling miracle".
Despite low luff tension and little loose leech, the YEAH has a wide range of use - whether freestyle or foilstyle. Its unbeatable reactivity, uncompromising off and dynamic pop will take you to the next level. Say YEAH!

Testbericht Windsurf Segel

Freestyle to party!

ON THE BEACH: We already had the chance to test the Yeah freestyle sail from GunSails, which, according to the manufacturer, has been optimized especially in terms of material thickness. Our test size of 4.8 square meters weights just 2.97 kilos (surf measurement), X-Ply is accordingly only found in the stress zones in the bottom of the sail. The four battens are very flat, and there is no visible profile on land. The Yeah also shows its freestyle genes in the leech - loose leech is not intended in this concept.

ON THE WATER: As expected, the Yeah is very agile in the hand when starting. As usual with freestyle sails, the Yeah also wants to be actively brought up to speed, those who pump three times will be rewarded with good power, the soft profile quickly charges up and then stabilizes noticeably in the planing phase. Despite the almost completely tensioned leech without loose leech, the GunSails never seems top heavy even in strong gusts and maintains its excellent handling across all wind ranges. The maneuvering handling is at the highest level, low holding forces meet a high degree of agility and very neutral and damped handling. This also continues seamlessly during duck moves, the Yeah pulls flat at the push of a button and then unfolds its power again in an extremely predictable and harmonious manner - the best prerequisites for all power moves.

SURF CONCLUSION: The GunSails Yeah plays in the highest freestyle league and combines good handling with top neutrality and a surprisingly large wind range.
